About the Band

History

Walkin’ Rosie has quickly risen to become a sought out, crowd favorite in the greater Pittsburgh area music scene.  The band was founded by four of the Yezovich brothers (Mike, Mark, Joe & John), their sister (Maria), and a friend (Todd Baldwin)  back in 2016.  At the end of 2021, Mike,  Joe and Todd made the difficult decision to leave the group due to ever growing professional and personal responsibilities.  John exited for similar reasons at the end of 2025.  Talented and experienced local musicians - Eric Biel (lead guitar & vocals), Tony DeLuca (bass guitar & vocals) and John Macho (drums) joined the group in 2022 and have carried on the name and spirit of Walkin' Rosie since.

This versatile and fun group knows how to deliver hit covers spanning countless music genres and eras with an infectious energy and amazing sound that leaves audiences wondering what the set list will bring next and wanting more.  Performing a little something for everyone in a style all their own, Walkin’ Rosie is THE premier cover band that you do not want to miss!

Meet the Band

Eric Biel - Guitar; Lead & backing vocals

Eric has played in bands since high school, including Stratosphere, RC Static and Hero Atlantic and The Virtuals.

Eric's background is rooted in classic and progressive rock with a healthy love for all things 90s. Some of his favorite bands/artists include: Rush, Dream Theater, Haken, Tool, Racer X, Gin Blossoms and Queensryche.

Outside of music, Eric works as an engineer. He enjoys ice hockey, carpentry, stand-up comedy and spending time with his wife, Trisha, their son and their dog, Cooper.

Tony DeLuca - Bass & Backing Vocals

Tony has played in many western PA bands over the last 30 years including DEN OF THIEVES, TOBACCO ROAD, GLITZ, ELECTRA LOVES DADDY, 4SP, 2ROCK2, FINALLY FREE and MR. SCARY. In addition to Walkin' Rosie, Tony is currently also a member of JUMPIN JACK FLASH, a Rolling Stones Tribute band. Tony comes from a wide and varied musical background that includes playing several instruments & many styles of music.  His versatility and experience means that he ready to jam with anyone, anytime.

In the daytime, Tony works as a Director of Consulting Services at CGI.  He and his wife enjoy supporting their son's music and performing arts interests.

Tony's lifelong love of music has had many influences, including Rush, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Jaco Pastorius, Jeff Berlin, & Tony Franklin.  Some of his favorite bands and performers are Motley Crue, Mr. Big, Anthrax, the Rolling Stones, Skid Row, John Corabi & Charlie Haden.  Tony is also a fan of television and film.  Favorite shows include The Office, American Horror Story & Stranger Things, while he enjoys films such as Natural Born Killers, Airplane, Old School & American Pie.

John Macho - Drums & Sound

John has performed originals and covers with several bands in the area for nearly 20 years.  He has tackled just about every role that a person can in that time- guitarist, bassist, sound engineer and occasional drummer.  John started on drums with his dad at a very young age but took a break from music until he picked up the guitar in college and started playing locally.

In addition to Walkin' Rosie, John still performs original music in Elliotsville Road, a band that he founded with his father.  John is a huge supporter of local music and artists and really enjoys going to see his friends perform as much as possible.

Outside of music, John works at Powercast as an engineer.  He loves fishing, working out, spending time with his wife Erin and dog Fleury, working on his house and eating bar food.

John’s favorite music artist is John Mellencamp, but honorable mentions include: Jason Aldean, Oasis, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Neil Young.  His favorite songs are Simple Man, Alive, Between a Laugh and a Tear and Jumpin’ Jack Flash.

Maria Yezovich - Lead & backing vocals

Maria is one of original founding members of WR.   Her earliest memories of musical performance revolve around her father’s band, Amber, & sing-a-longs/dance parties/talent shows with her siblings.  Maria’s love of vocal performance is owed to time spent in church choir & to the encouragement of her teachers & friends in the Woodland Hills School District Music Department.  She remains connected to the Department as a Board Member of the WH Performing Arts Guild & through participation in a variety of alumni performances.

Outside of music, Maria manages the servicing of a book of clients for a team of financial advisors at Baird Private Wealth Management - one being her brother, WR 1.0 drummer, Joe.  Her favorite thing to do is spend time outdoors with her dogs, Loki Salem & Hermes.  She also relishes being the “cool aunt.”

Maria has an admittedly, extremely eclectic list of musical favorites/influences that include: Queen, W A Mozart, The Monkees, Genesis, Eminem, Hank Williams Jr., Boyz II Men, Stephen Sondheim, The Fugees, Igor Stravinsky, Linkin Park, Adele, Evanescence, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Led Zeppelin and boy bands- NKOTB, BSB & *NSYNC

Mark Yezovich - Rhythm guitar & Keyboard

Mark is a founding member of the group.  Though known by most for his accomplishments on the football field, Mark played upright bass throughout his childhood and went on to pick-up rhythm guitar as an adult.  As Walkin' Rosie has continued to grow its list of song covers over the years, Mark has put his talents to use learning keyboard parts.

Mark spends his days in management at US Steel's Edgar Thompson Works.  He enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, at the gym and as an outdoorsman.

Mark is a fan of country and rock music and enjoys attending live music events.
